A Chicago area 501(C)(3) nonprofit organization fostering healing through art in the homes of children with life-threatening or chronic illnesses.
Mission
Statement
Healing Habitat will endeavor, through art, to meet the needs
of children by painting a mural in the child's room. In order
to help the whole family, any siblings will also receive some
painting as well.
We strive to create a healing habitat
for children with life-threatening or chronic illnesses. Using
our individual talents, we will foster a therapeutic environment
for the children and their families. This healing is for the
mind, body, and spirit.
